Client Success Manager

Position Description

Root23 Agency is a fast-growing boutique creative marketing agency that serves clients in the IT and telecommunications industries including service providers and channel organizations. We are hiring a Client Success Manager that will be responsible for onboarding new clients and projects, driving projects to completion, and managing the client relationship on an ongoing basis.


Core Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the onboarding of new clients and new projects after sale

  • Develop and set up project plans in our project management software

  • Resource planning and scheduling 

  • Ensure timely completion of milestones by facilitating communication between stakeholders and resources

  • Produce monthly reports

  • Quarterly account reviews

  • Ongoing account support

  • Coordinate with Business Development Manager for upsell opportunities and pitches

About the Position

This position is a mix of account manager and project manager.


  • You will enable a warm handoff from sales and engage with new clients or clients that have new projects. 

  • The project will be built out in our project management software according to our agency process, resources will be scheduled, and a project plan will be created for the client. 

  • Once a project is built, it will be launched by facilitating a kickoff call and intake documentation will be shared with the client. 

  • Once launched, you will coordinate with the resources for the project, facilitate communication, and manage deliverables to the set milestones. 

  • You’ll also keep frequent, proactive communication with the client. 

  • You’ll manage the ongoing client relationship by being a single point of contact, providing reports when applicable, and participating in regular account reviews

Requirements 

  • Located within commuting distance of our Asbury Park office

  • 3+ years in a related position at a marketing agency or client-side (account management, project management, or both)

  • Experience using project management and/or agency management software

  • Telecom or IT experience a plus

  • Workamajig agency management software experience a plus

  • History of selling to enterprise-level accounts
